- “Great views marvelous Hot springs”Hungrywatcher17 august 2016
there are several pools of varying degrees of warm and one almost freezing. The idea being go from hot and cold to help circulation and blood flow. Careful if you have a heart condition. There are other springs close by that are cheaper but the locals tell me this is cleaner and better presented.
The change rooms are clean and plentiful good showers and the steam baths assume but more money. Towels and bathrobes are extra but clean. The restaurant in the 5 trips i have been there is a service nightmare everything takes forever food is meh. Fortunately for them the restaurant is not their main feature.
The drive from Quito through the mountains is breath taking more so if you go back at night through fog, but not in a good way.
For me a great place to go to unwind.

Nice accomodation if you like hot-water baths. there is a hot water pool in front of most of the cabins. Given that the region itself is rather could an wet, there are great to spend some time in. Otherwise our family cabin was good, spacey clean and all you might expect from such a location.

An excellent short trip from Quito; this area is beautiful, and the thermal pools are extremely relaxing. Be aware, however, that the rooms are very basic: no TV, and the only source of heat is a space heater — BRRRRRR!!!! Also, the rooms lack toiletries such as soap and conditioner. Would definitely return, however — the pools are worth it!
- “Great family cabins and hot pools”TheFoxies 25 July 2016
We passed hear from Quito on our way to the Amizon for one night. We arrived late afternoon and spend a few hours in the pool. It was cloudy and pretty cold so the hot pools were great. The pool are has plenty of hot pools where you can relax. Also showers and cold pools around. Very few people but probably that’s because we visited late afternoon and not in a weekend. Food at the restaurant in evening an morning were very good. Family cabins sleep 6 and are great value with two bathrooms, small living and floor is heated thanks to hot springs. The pools near the cabin are too small but maybe great value if you want to use them late in evening to watch the stars? Too cloudy for us. A worthwhile stopover.
