Our reputation on Tripadvisor
- “THIS IS MY NEW HAPPY PLACE”Globetrter5 abr 2016
A hot spring pool directly outside your front door! This is a little oasis in the middle of the mountains. I only stayed one night as we were part of a tour group traveling throughout Ecuador, however I could have stayed 10 nights here! The spa was spectacular, the outdoor pools within the mountain range, the eucalyptus infused roman baths, and the massage before bed cannot be beat. We did not eat dinner as the timing was off for our group ( a picnic in the room was more fun anyway) however breakfast buffet was plentiful. Our group took advantage of the hot springs and spa instead of eating!
- “THERMAL BATH SPA RESORT”slow_motion_traveler 5 abr 2016
Stayed in this resort was arranged by Gate 1 Travel as part of the Ecuador tour, it was a very comfortable stay. This kind of rustic cabin in countryside made a totally different feel compare with luxury hotel in big cities. Our cabin were very comfortable, a few steps from our cabin door is the semi private hot spring pool. At this high elevation and cold weather, soaking in the thermal spring was really relaxing. There is a hiking trail going up to higher mountain but because of the rain so we didn’t have a chance to check it out. The dinning room look high class and dinner was wonderful.
We only had time stayed for one night. We feel like we need another visit to this resort someday.
- “TOTALLY PERFECT, PARADISE, OUT OF THIS WORLD, AMAZING, CAN´T GET ENOUGH OF THIS PLACE, PLEASE GO”pvel 28 mar 2016
Shame on the reviews on tripadvisor that said the rooms were shabby etc. This place is hands down amazing. You can go straight from your well furnished wood cabin to the most amazing thermal pools and the surrounding mountains are heavenly. The staff is friendly, the restaurant has good food for any budget, of course it is not very cheap but reasonable considering the location. I have no idea why anyone would say anything bad about this place. Just come and see for yourself. We got a driver to take us from Quito to Papallacta as there are no direct buses, I think.

Our extended family including 4 Ecuadoreans spent two days here over Xmas week, and loved our cozy log cabin with chiminea, the hot pools right outside our room, and the lovely landscaped grounds full of hummingbirds. The spa was expensive for Ecuador but I had the deepest massage I’ve ever experienced.
