This was the most fun we’ve ever had at a spa. The hot springs are just that… HOT. With over 4 different temperature pools and a cold pool (use it, it’s awesome!), this is a wonderful place to relax every muscle in your body. The pools are lovely, as are the jets of hot water that pour out from every direction known. Sit beneath one & let it take every last iota of stress out of the back of your neck. The food is simply lovely, we truly enjoyed our meals, even with a raging case of acute mountain sickness taking over my life. We also very much enjoyed the massages – my RMT was amazing! She found new knots I didn’t know I had and made my life just that much better by getting rid of half of them. Lovely experience! It is not worth staying overnight at the spa, travel up for a day trip or even two days of luxurious hot springs fun.
- “NICE SPA RESORT”sxa19955 June 2016
The hotel is part of a large farm. The rooms are located in wood building that in front of them are small hot water pools. The rooms are very simple, in the large room we have a dbl. bed and twin bed, safe, water a table and two chairs. There is a spa area with larger pools and treatment area where you can get all kind of massages for reasonable fares. This part is for guest only. Outside the hotel there is a public spa.
The restaurant serve breakfast and also dinner and lunch that are very nice. The breakfast is a buffet. There is a bar and there is a tv set in the restaurant and the bar. There is also a computer center and Wi-Fi is free. There is a nice train that go along the the river along the farm. The trail can be slippery and better have a coat.
- “RESTFUL VISIT”Touille13 18 may 2016
After visiting humming birds in the area, spent the night here. Was raining but had been told by guide that even if it rains go in to the hot springs. It was raining and we did and was wonderful! Fairly basic cabin accommodation, but comfortable, food very acceptable and staff pretty helpful.
- “SUPER RELAXING – BUT SOME ARE SUPER HOT! – BEST ON A COOL DAY”MN_Traveler_3333 3 June 2016
We hired a driver and spent our last few hours in these pools prior to taking our red-eye flight. The waters were so relaxing and put me in the best mood for the flight! The towel cost $1, but they took a $5 deposit for the return. Also, the changing rooms are co-ed with little privacy so just a heads up if you are not staying at the hotel/spa.
